Glenn Anderson had a column in today's Detroit News on the need to protect our Great Lakes and natural resources and the industries that rely on them from oil spills and other disasters.

LIVONIA, Mich--- Numerous public safety organizations have endorsed State Senator Glenn Anderson, citing his strong record of supporting law enforcement and providing the tools necessary to ensure safety in local communities. The Police Officers Association of Michigan, Michigan Fraternal Order of Police, Wayne County Deputy Sheriffs Association and Michigan Professional Firefighters Union were joined by local police and fire organizations to endorse Glenn Anderson as the best candidate to restore confidence in state government and provide safe communities for local families.
